Parlour, Chorlton.

There are a few local stalwarts that we frequent every so often. The Sunday Dinner at Parlour is one of those. The only problem is deciding. Beef or Pork? Beef is best I think but pork gets you the precious crackling. We cadged a bit of this last time off Mrs Bacon's Mum and fought over it too. Parlour is also the only place we can all agree on going for lunch (they have the children's portion).
One of my Spanish followers on twitter asked what 'that big thing was' I tried to explain that it's a Yorkshire Pudding, a damn fine one too.
There's a reason why there's still always a queue for the Sunday Dinner here. That's because it's spot on every time, using good quality meat from W H Frost unlike some of their neighbours.
Disclaimer: I was commissioned by Parlour to take photos in the summer but I've been enjoying the Sunday Dinner here regularly since they opened.

  1. Wow, I'll be going here on the strength of your pictures alone. It's not easy to make food look appetising in a photo but you've cracked it.
