Dog Friendly Manchester.

I thought I'd compile a list of decent dog friendly bars and restaurants in Manchester and surrounding areas as I always enjoy taking Sammie along with us on our trips out. He's part of our family and is never any trouble. Sadly few if any, proper restaurants let dogs in unlike in France, where it's apparently commonplace even in posh places. The law here actually permits it, it's only in 'food preparation areas' where they are not allowed to be. (The kitchen). If there's any good pubs I've missed please let me know and I'll add them to the list. (Those that I've been to on the blog are linked to the reviews).
Chorlton.
We do very well in Chorlton as many places near me let dogs in. (All the best places I might add).
Strange Brew. 8az, 370 Barlow Moor Rd.

Epicerie Ludo, 46 Beech Road. This wonderful French deli is the only food shop I know of that lets dogs in.

Palate. 516 Wilbraham Road. Wine Bar.
The Beech. 72 Beech Road. Dogs in all but the horrible carpeted room. Good ale.

The Beagle. 456-458 Barlow Moor Road.

The Nip and Tipple. 197 Upper Chorlton Rd. Oddest Bar. 414 - 416 Wilbraham Rd.
The Spoon Inn. 364 Barlow Moor Road. If your dog is wearing a jumper you'll get a discount!
Chorlton Green Brasserie. 137 Beech Rd. Dog friendly day time only.

  1. As a regular reader I respectfully request that we see more of your Sammie. How about allowing him to do a regular guest post? If he's pleading for biscuits in Serendipitea he clearly has good taste.
