Foodies Festival, Tatton Park Cheshire.

One of the perks of running a website like this one is getting complimentary tickets for events and openings. We are very happy to go along to the Foodies Festival this weekend at Tatton Park, it starts this Friday the 17th. There's loads going on; a chefs theatre with the likes of Mary-Ellen McTague from Aumbry and Steve Smith from The Freemasons at Wiswell demonstrating their culinary skills.

Plus beer tastings from excellent local brewers Tatton are on hand on all three days (I reckon I'll get there early for that one!) Amongst the many other things that will be in the show, there will be several pop up restaurants including Stolen Lamb, Mayur, and The Lord Binning. I think it may take me some time to decide which one of these I want to eat at, (I'm hoping to fill up on free food samples as well!) 
My top tip for the weekend though is to wear wellies!
